1926
The EIKASO brand was founded in 1926 in Solingen by the Eickenberg family. With grandfather, father, and son, EIKASO was a true family business that passed on its experience and passion from generation to generation.
2007
Due to the war, company owner S.Ibrahimi had to leave his home country in 1993 and came to Germany, where, as a qualified mechanical engineer with more than 30 years of experience, he was able to demonstrate his skills for various companies here in Solingen before founding his own company EDREI with his wife in 2007.
With the goal of manufacturing high-quality knives and offering grinding work and contract manufacturing with the utmost dedication and passion for his craft, he started in a small room for his first customers.
The company now employs more than 24 people in a 3000sqm production facility in the heart of Solingen and manufactures world-renowned knives.
2014
In 2014, the EIKASO brand was acquired by the Eickenberg family. The self-produced knives have since been manufactured and sold worldwide as EIKASO knives. Over the years, the brand's recognition grew continuously. Accordingly, the team expanded, forcing the company to expand and build another hall in 2022, thereby increasing its total production area to 3000 sqm.
Current - 2024
More than 100,000 EIKASO knives are sold annually. Satisfied customers from Germany and abroad trust the quality of Solingen knives and are consistently pleased. Edrei company for grinding & contract work and the EIKASO brand for self-produced knives are growing steadily.
