FAQs

Our knives are made from Molybdenum Steel 1.4116. DIN 1.4116 is also known as X50CrMoV15 and belongs to the group of martensitic stainless steels. The composition of DIN 1.4116 includes approximately 0.50% carbon, 15% chromium, 0.7% molybdenum, and 0.15% vanadium. This combination gives the steel good corrosion resistance, high hardness, good sharpenability, and a certain toughness.

After each use, clean your knives by hand with warm water and mild dish soap. Avoid using harsh detergents or abrasive sponges, as these can damage the surface. Pay special attention to thoroughly remove all food residues.

Original EIKASO knives are offered with a guarantee. As a manufacturer, we are confident in the high quality of our knives and therefore offer a guarantee for specific cases.
